WeFunk play at Box Rocks - August Bank Holiday 2006
WeFunk are a new funk/disco covers band that I sing in, with Jonny Diver on guitar, Martyn Frith on drums (another drumming Martyn!), Ade on bass, Jason on keys
and John Snell doubling up the lead vocal duties
JD was away this weekend (probably another stag do in Lithuania/Estonia) so he was ably deputised by Tony "The Tiger" Taylor. Sadly though it turned out to be John Snell's last gig with us as his "work" "commitments"
meant he could no longer practice with us.
The gig was a good laugh - although a bit chilly when you are only wearing a flimsy halterneck - and everyone (save me!) enjoyed the free beers
lovingly supplied by Dean at the Queens Head in Box!
